Our U14 camogie team are through to the Down final

The Ulster U14 semi-final was played against Our Lady's Grammar School, Newry.   St Columba's were up against a very strong Our Lady's team and opted to play against the breeze in the first half. It was a very tough half and the girls battled extremely hard to go into the break one point in front with a scoreline of 1-3 to 1-2.
The girls got off to a flying start in the second half and produced an excellent performance, keeping Our Lady's scoreless and powering forward on all occasions to put a further 2-6 on the scoreboard.
End result St Columba's 5-9: our lady's 1-2.
Scores: Ann Marie Smyth 2:6; Chloe Alarape 2:0; Allanah Hagan 1:2; Lauren Craft 0:1.

The girls will now play in two finals - the Co Down final against Knock and the Ulster Final against the winners of St Benedict's Randalstown or The Academy in Dungannon.

Good Luck!
