Kirk Cup Victory v St Patrick's Keady

St. Columba's College defeated St. Patrick's Keady in the final group game of the Kirk Cup on Wednesday the 12th March 2014.  The fantastic 2.15 to 2.05 victory takes the College through to the quarter finals of the competition. Having already defeated St. Patrick's Downpatrick in the first group game, St. Columba's went into this game full of confidence.

Ater a slow start to the game, where St. Columba's found themselves 5 points down, they began to display the form which helped gain the victory over the Red High.  Jordan Doran was instrumental once again, scoring a total of 15 points, although he was ably supported by outstanding performances from Eoin Savage, Aaron Crowe, Cathal Ritchie, Connor Shields and Ronan Blair.  St. Columba's are now looking forward fo the quarter final draw and should be confident in progressing once again.
