Cooking Demonstration by Mrs Patricia McClean from the Livestock and Meat Commission

Mrs Patricia McClean from the Livestock and Meat Commission gave a cookery demonstration of Spiced Lamb Curry served with Rice and Naan bread and Chilli Beef served with rice, tortilla chips, guacamole and yoghurt dips.  She talked to the pupils about the role of meat in the diet and the importance of the Eatwell plate as a guide to choosing a healthy diet.  As she worked she shared valuable preparation, cooking and serving tips with the Year 10 pupils.  The demonstration was most enjoyable and the outcome was even better!
