Civic Leadership Course

Northern Irelandhas one of the youngest populations inEurope so it makes sense that young people are provided with the right training and skills so that a new generation of leaders are formed. The Civic Leadership training seeks to provide basic knowledge, skills and awareness of civic leadership. It also provides a range of opportunities so that students can take steps to use the new found confidence and skills to contribute to society.

The Civic Leadership Course also offers students the opportunity to achieve qualifications through the Open College Network (OCN) in:

  • Developing leadership skills
  • Understanding rights and responsibilities of citizenship
  • Developing group and teamwork communication skills
  • Using teamwork skills
